If you pause the moving background at the top of a page, we keep that one choice in your browser while this tab is open, so it stays paused as you move around. It is called ea_motion and goes when you close the tab.

A security check on forms
Only on a form
When you start filling in a form, Cloudflare Turnstile loads to check you are a person and not a bot. It is a security check, not tracking, and nothing loads until you use the form.
You do not need to opt out of anything, and there is no banner to dismiss because there is nothing to agree to. Your browser's own cookie and storage controls still work exactly as they always did.

How you can verify this.
A claim about tracking is worth exactly as much as the reader's ability to check it, so here is how to check it.
Three things you can confirm yourself
- Open your browser's developer tools, go to Application or Storage, and look at this site. Cookies and Local Storage are empty. Session Storage is empty too, unless you pressed Pause, when it holds the one value ea_motion.
- Open the Network tab and reload. Every request goes to velstrian.com. There is no analytics endpoint, no tag manager, no embedded video and no web font from anyone else. The one exception is a page with a form, where the security check loads from Cloudflare once you start typing.
- View the page source. There is no analytics or advertising script to find.
The signed-in product
Velstrian Bid is a separate matter.
This page is about this website. The product you sign in to is a different application on a different address, and it does set cookies, because it has to.
What signing in involves

- Its own consent control for analytics, which is off until you turn it on

None of that reaches this website. Reading velstrian.com, including this page, involves no account and no sign in.
If this changes
What we would do first.
We may add analytics one day. If we do, nothing would be set before you agreed to it, this page would become a real preference centre, and the cookie policy would be updated in the same change rather than afterwards.
